we toured the new Advanced Manufacturing Center at St. Louis Community College – Florissant Valley, and it was exciting to see the future of manufacturing in action. What stood out most was the focus on apprenticeships and hands-on training for the next generation. Students are gaining real-world experience in welding, robotics, machining, engineering technology, and other skilled trades using state-of-the-art equipment designed to prepare them for today’s careers. It’s encouraging to see young people excited about manufacturing and the strong investment being made in Missouri’s future. Thank you to Dan Kania and the STLCC team for showing us how they are helping shape the next generation of makers and innovators.
